Will there be a 6.x release in the next time? Drupal 6 is almost 6 month old!

I occasionally post updates from the translation server. I did so yesterday. The file can be found on http://drupal.org/project/de. There won't be a 1.0 release until everything is translated and reviewed.

hm, this is weird. "Blog" translated to "Weblog" ... nobody says that in germany.

That's not true. I know lots of people who say "Weblog".

personally I've never heard somebody speaking "weblog" out loud here in berlin. But that translation is formal, right? so i guess "weblog" is okay for formal german.

Also wenn ich eine C'T oder IX lese - schreiben die meines Wissens auch immer "Blog"... bin auch kein Fan von "Weblog".

Oh, wir können das gerne ändern. Ich habe nur gemeint, dass ich auch Weblog schonmal gehört habe, finde es aber nicht deutlich besser als Blog.

Weiß jemand wie es andere populäre CMS- oder Blog-Systeme nennen?

Weblog setzt sich aus den Begriffen Log und Web. Blog und Weblog ist somit gleichdeutend, jedoch ist der Begriff Blog häufiger zu finden. Ich denke es sollte nicht nötig sein, die Übersetzungen zuändern, nur weil der Begriff Blog geläufiger ist.

Ich finde es sollte durchaus auch moeglich sein, zwischen formell und informell auswaehlen zu können.
