preserve destination?

This is a great module.
One thing i'd really like is to go to where I started the login process when I log in instead of the /user page. I have been looking at the drupal_get_destination() function, but am somewhat at a loss.

Can anyone toss me a hint on now to get back to node/xxx when I get through the login process?
