nonsieYou have to set access to the view in Page: Access restrictions

merlinofchaos commentedI'm not sure how this qualifies as a bug; I can't see anything that suggests that, by default, it shouldn't appear when logged out. It is especially not a critical bug.
You can change whether or not it appears by editing the view and modifying the 'access' setting.

hilmy commentedI don't see Page: Access restrictions anywhere in admin/build/views/edit/... I only see Page settings->Menu item entry, and set the Type to No menu entry to get rid of the What links here tab.
Note that the What links here tab still appears even though I disable all views. I have to enable a view (backlinks) and set the Page: menu setting entry to no menu to get rid of the tab.

edward.peters commented@merlinofchaos: thanks for coming back with this clarification. I had the same issue, and did not understand what this new tab was about. I found I could also disable the Backlinks View altogether, which also removed the tab.

Philip Hollings commentedNone of the above appear to function for me :(
I really don't want to go hacking the original module code...but if I MUST !
Any other methods of removing/disabling the [ View ] | [ What Links Here ] tabs for "Anonymous" users.

Dorian_B commentedI had the same problem.
In my case, I had to activate Views Exporter and Views UI in order to get Views at admin/build ... then edit/disable the backlinks function.

andreaskian commentedThe tab suddenly popped up in last dev version of D7 ... Solved it by changing the Page settings: Access -> Role -> Administrator.
This way the tab is only showed when I'm logged in (as administrator)

Memoskins commentedI solved this editing the View: backlink/page display/page options /menu (no menu). With this options I was able to hide the "what links here" tab and still use the view inside a panel.
thanks for the help.
