Could this system be suitable for Theater or Conference reservation system?
The idea is the have the user be able to book a seat (or several) and see how many are left.
The main difference with using it as it is for hotel is that there is no time period, but only a fixed schedule.
Does this integrate with the CCK, Event or Calendar module?
