For the reasons outlined in the forum topic http://drupal.org/node/259586, specifically comment http://drupal.org/node/259586#comment-852938 I would like to request the below feature to work in tandem with the feature requested in http://drupal.org/node/261383 and the procedure described in http://drupal.org/node/259586#comment-852938.

I have "Legacy node panes" enabled (why is think this is a good idea: http://drupal.org/node/261383).
I would like to add a node content to a panel.
On the "Panel content" tab I do "+" >> "custom" >> "Node content" and get a dialogue where I can specify a node and some options. I can only specify a node by ID.
I would like to request that a node search facility would be added to search for a node by title and/or category classification.
This would enable non-technically trained editors to work with this feature. A further motivation is given in the above links.

Just a quick response on this one - all this really would consist of is pulling in the autocomplete functions defined in the context, I think - not hard.
