I got 2 different appearance problems with these browsers:

Firefox 3 (beta and RC1)
when I switch from rich text editor to plain text everything disappear (as you can see in the attached 001.png and 002.png).

Safari
if I preview a content, the text in the box body disappear and the only way to have it back is to refresh the page.

The worst thing in all this is that if I save the content while the page is messed, the html code is saved (switching to plain text I can see all Html tags), but it takes no effects on publishing (the content is shown in plain text).
I tried pasted 3 paragraphs, then I switch to plain text and preview: the result is shown in 003.png and 004.png.
After this I refreshed and everything went beck correctly as you see in the last jpg.

I have committed a patch provided by rmpel in #261483: Having the FCK editor load upon page completion (FCK failes in some occasions within fieldsets). I believe that it solved the problem with Safari. I couldn't reproduce this issue in Firefox 3 RC1/Win XP.
Please download the latest dev release (should be available tomorrow) and close this issue if everything is ok.
