Access denied to admin the site

When I changed host companies I lost access to the admin of the links page of my website that is Drupal. It worked fine prior to the host change. Now I can log on but something is incompatible and it kicks you out every time you move to another page or try to submit any changes. Any ideas on how to fix this? Not sure of the version listed in project information.
