Hi,
I am setting up a large site with a massively distributed administration. membership records are to be maintained by one set of users but web content another set of users.
In this way it would be preferable for roles to be given the overide permission and not specific users.
ok, so I guess this is a feature request.

if it's a feature request, then please mark it as such.
i have no interest in coding this, but would review a patch for this feature and consider it for inclusion.
