Views, Contemplate, the usual super goodies, with a MooTools navigation thrown in there.
Unfortunately, MooTools breaks a lot of the jquery stuff, such as dropdowns. Luckily since the site is for a client that isn't doing much editing, it doesn't matter. I know about the jquery noconflict mode stuff but didn't bother messing with it since I don't need to fix what's broken. Worst case scenario, I just comment out the script when I need to edit deep down.

The site looks good. I like the mootools navigation. One little problem I see is that the featured listing section has a huge photo that takes a while to load.

You're right, views is pulling from the original image, I believe, so since the content is being added by someone who doesn't have much concept of file sizes, sometimes this becomes a problem.
