I had the feb 5.x-1.x-dev version installed, and it wouldnt approve ads to show - so i removed it from modules page, attempted to uninstall and all it did was refresh the page when i clicked uninstall. So i deleted the ad directory from modules/ and deleted all the tables in mysql. I downloaded rc2 and uploaded it to my server. No matter what i try it refuses to install - it doesnt create the tables in mysql, and it gives me status error reports even after running update.php with all possible variants of updates. I have also tried using the latest dev release with no success.

Please advise how i can get this module installed and working properly again - it is VERY urgent i get my ads back on my site.

Many thanks

I have managed to fix the problem i was having... after 3 day.... unfortunately that involved installing an entirely new drupal site, db etc, and then exporting all of my content to the new site. Not the easiest, quickest, or most elegant way to fix the problem - but at least my site is back to 100% function.

I still think this issue may be worth investigating further down the line.

Many thanks for the great module! look forward to even more advancements :-)

Hi Everyone,

If your Module list does not show up after you enable any newly installed module, do the following to get your module list back, without reinstalling drupal all over again.

Using your SQL tool browse the records from drupal_system table for "name = problemmodulename" then mark the "status" column value to '0' from '1'.

Then refresh your module list, it should show up everything with the problem module's enable check box unchecked.

The ad module has issues with "Ad Channel" and "Ad File Cache" modules. If you enable them then you will see above issue. I got back my module list display after setting these two module's status to '0' as above.

Hope this helps.

Thanks
