I only seem to get the correct play and download counts for logged in users. I'm the *only* authenticated user on my site, so this is a bit of an issue.

I updated to Audio 5.x.2.x-dev last week, but I only really noticed this issue yesterday, so I'm not sure if it's due to the recent update or not.

My site has "Normal" caching enabled, but when I am logged out and refresh my browsers (Safari, Firefox), the play and download counts are still incorrect.

I made a search for this issue and found this post about new revisions resetting play counts. Revisions are turned off on my audio nodes, so this is not the problem here.

Btw, thanks for the brilliant Audio module. I wouldn't have a website if it wasn't for this little beauty! :)

what if you were to clear the cache tables from the DB ?

have you tried running cron.php ?

That seemed to fix it!

But I'll have to check again tomorrow or the day after, to see if the play counter has continued to update...

Thanks very much, VeryMisunderstood!

Hi Drewish,

I re-checked my site today. The play and download counters have not updated for anonymous users since I cleared my php cache 2 days ago. :-(

I do have 'Poormanscron' installed on my (shared hosting) site, but this doesn't seem to clear the php cache (I'm not really sure if it's meant to). I did it last time by running update.php.

FWIW, both anonymous and authenticated users do have permission to view the download stats.

Thanks for the attention. :-)
