I am trying to publish to my newest Drupal 6.2 installation using an external editor and the XMLRPC (MetaWeblog API) method, but some of the formatting is unexpectedly removed after the blog posting is published. I have tried ScribeFire and Google Docs with the same result.

RESOLVED
I searched online for 30 minutes or so before posting to the Drupal forum. Figures that after an additional 3 minutes of poking around in the site configuration, I found the solution myself.
Drupal Home > Administer > Site Configuration > Input Formats > Set 'Full HTML' as the default.
I'll leave this up just in case there are others looking for this solution (it's not very obvious to a non-Drupal user).
Thanks!!
Thanks for posting this. I
Thanks for posting this. I also thought of the full html solution, but then all users (including anonymous ones) get full html too. What do you do with comment posters?
