YUI Calendar and CCK

Does some sort of documentation page or an example exist on how to properly use YUI Calendar with CCK? I've been playing with this for a while and I'm obviously missing something. I am sure it's very simple but I'm new.

Is there another place to use YUI Calendar other than with CCK?
