It would be nice to have a block where the users connected to the irc chat are displayed. Or have the choices to just display the numbers of connected people on the channel.

I agree this would be nice functionality.

This module, however, just provides a window for the mibbit client. I'm afraid creating a block that displays info from the channel is beyond the scope of this module.
