With the menu module enabled, a number of breadcrumbs for my nodes are inaccurate. For example, when a breadcrumb should be Home > Category > Item, it will only appear as Home > Item (using just books and book pages for content organization). In addition, if I change the parent book for a page, this change is often not reflected in the breadcrumb (i.e., it displays the old parent).

When I disable the menu module (which is really a bummer to do, of course), all of my breadcrumbs are perfect. Thus, I suspect it's something in the menu module.

I can't reproduce this. My book page breadcrumbs appear the same, and in the way I expect, with or without the menu module.
