Editing existing nodes (pages) custom alias is lost

Hello,

I haven't dug into the code yet, but I want to get this out here and see if maybe I am doing something wrong or if this is truly an issue. When I create a page (that's all I'm working with at this point on this site (haven't paid any attention to this issue on the other ones yet)) and then go back in and edit the page, the custom alias I set is lost on submit if you do not uncheck the box for autoalias, the box does show the correct custom alias. Is this by design or an actual code issue?

Thanks in advance, I will do some additional looking still, if I find something in the code I will try and build a patch file.
