I would like to open this thread to collect any experiences and lessons learned while creating a multisite; one which is mobile and one which is standard, while using the same user base.

If we can collect enough info, i'll summary it and do the handbook page and submit it. Heck if it saves me or anyone else from having to do the site structure twice it would more than a fair trade. ;-)
