Disable WebSnapr for a certain node type?

This question was asked previously, but no response was posted. Is it possible to disable WebSnapr on certain node types? Specifically, I would like to disable image nodes. I have URL links within the image nodes and as a separate field, Websnapr wants to create a preview for both the text link and the from the image node where a URL is embedded. I’d like to turn off image nodes. Is this possible? If so, can you please provide the appropriate syntax to add preferences settings?
