I finely got this working after a fashion

I have not been able to get it scrolling in the vertical mode. Instead the pics display in 2 rows and go up and down 2 twice.
in the horizontal mode it scroll's 3 times and then returns to the first picture?

The instructions seem supper and the potential behavior is fantastic but I cant seem to make it behave
