hi!

after activating rdf it says i should go to the settings but when i try to do so i get "access denied". any ideas?

This is due to the menu system changes in Drupal 6.2, for which the presently-available version has not been updated. A new version will be available within the next few days.

Install went fine, but the Rdf_db module is 'missing'. There is an rdf.db.inc file in the module directory, but it doesn't show up on the modules page (both api and schema are there and selected). Seems there's a tremendous number of dependent modules....

Suggestions are welcome

Please see the release notes - the RDF DB module has been merged into the base module.
