Sessions, contribution, connection, and Early Bird savings until 8 June.I am using drupal 5.7 on apache 2 - php 5.2.4 mysql 5.0.51a, on my ubuntu hardy box - whenever I enable this module it causes everything page to take at least 15 seconds to load

dwwHow very helpful. Please search the issue queue (both here and the core update.module component). There are ongoing discussions about various issues related to this. If you can't be bothered to look around and try to help out with those (productive) discussions, I can't be bothered to seriously reply here.
