In the imagefield configuration in the content type, when I set the field labeled "The resolution to crop the image onto:" to 0 (as per the instructions "Set to 0 not to rescale after cropping"), and try to upload in image in the corresponding content type, the preview of the image to be cropped does not show up in the crop area. The bounding box is there, and it appears to be about the right size for the image, but the crop area is entirely gray.

When I set a resolution to be something other than 0 (i.e. 200x200) the image preview shows up fine.

This settings should not affect the UI (besides the default size of the bounding box).
I also cannot recreate the problem.

Could you investigate a little further and look for some more information on this?
