Issue Summary
I'm currently rewriting my custom modules for a drupal based website on a local community wireless mesh network initiative. I'm trying to generalize as much as possible and release the building blocks on drupal.org. The first one is in ip-calculator api which provides calculations of ip-blocks and conversion between different representations.

Because i intend to use CCK for ip-management in the future, i was pleased to find your module. For me it would be very interesting to base cck_ipaddr on ipcalc, in order to get the ips and masks stored as integers instead of octets in the database. Do you like / have a chance to work on that or should i just submit patches if i get to the point?

looks like ipcalc is about as abandoned as cck_ipaddr has been :)
if you're still interested, and are interested in submitting patches, please reopen this issue!
