Profile field visiblity should vary by role

hi! i am new to drupal, bumping my way around it. i mostly don't know what i am doing. i saw you post on a node http://drupal.org/node/14149 #24, where you attached a patch profile.acl-by-role.1.132.patch 9.67 KB. i wounder if you know where i can get something like that but for more current revision, mine is $Id: profile.module,v 1.189.2.8 2007/07/26 19:16:48 drumm Exp $. thank you, herman
