The field mapping capabilities certainly allow us to do new and interesting things using feedapi. However, I've been using node templates to automatically tag articles coming from specific feeds with pre-determined taxonomy terms. From the description here, it sounds like I wouldn't be able to assign these terms using FeedAPI unless they were already in the feed somehow so I could then map them to a field. Is the node-template-style functionality implemented in FeedAPI yet?
