I just added http://drupal.org/project/betterselect and was forced to select "Utility" for lack of a better place to stick it.
So that ends up putting it in the same category as things like "Advanced Cache" and "Anonymous Contact"
One of these things is not like the other... ;)
Opinions?

catchSounds good. But.. a lot of modules of this type appear to be in 'theme related' or 'javascript utilities'. Can we reclassify mis-placed modules once this gets in?
catchThis got me thinking, might be worth reworking all the existing categories since there's been a few requests to add new ones, and some of the existing ones aren't much use (400 utility modules?)

sun+1 for "User interface"

silverwing commentedWe currently have User Access and User Management - should we have the User Interface? Or would another general 'user' term help cover others?
avpadernoThe term is too generic, and I am not sure most people would think of when reading .
The term seems too generic, to me, and there is the risk the term would be misused. Most modules implement a user interface (meaning with that the pages used to interact with the user, such as the settings pages), while I take the new term is thought for modules like jQuery UI, and all those modules that implement dialogs, editors, interactive diagrams, etc.

avpadernoNobody else agreed that it would be a good idea to add such category. I am marking this feature request as .

sunSome public rambling about this issue + mass card sorting would be great to do.
Didn't dmitrig01 want to write a cardsort module? Why don't we have this feature on g.d.o yet? bleh! :)
