Is there a way to get the fieldgroup descriptions showing? They don't seem to appear when using the cck fieldgroup tabs.

As it doesn't seem that anyone is taking care of this problem, you can do what I did to have an explentation for a fieldgroup implemented:

Use the Markeup tiny module provided in http://drupal.org/node/83787
