When a donation amount is enter and the submit button is pressed, it remains at the same page with no confirmation as to whether the donation was added or not. But if you do go to the cart, it is in fact added.
If a normal product is purchased, it brings the user to their cart. However it doesn't do this with donations, and the user will have no idea if their donation was submitted or not.
