IS Drigg compatible with CCK?

Hi,

The answer here is "I don't see why not". However, please test it carefully, and report CAREFULLY any bugs you notice.

Please note that you _have_ to use the Drigg node type with Drigg.

I have used drigg and cck before successfully on one site.

On another site. I'm just adding a plain text field to the scoop and it does not retain the text on submission. If I go back and edit the scoop, then it saves the field.

On the same site, I've tried to add a field on the page content type and it works fine, the problem is only with drigg.

I'm using the latest CCK and Drigg 1.31
Any ideas what might be causing it? If not drigg, where else could I look?

Will leave this open for a while in case somebody else knows... but I very much doubt it.

Please try to disable drigg promotion module and see if the bug disapear.

UPS I have just tested this and I do have the same problem.

Edit nr.2:

Disabling drigg promotion is solving this problem and so it does with imagefield.

At least this is directing us not to imagefield or textfield module but to CCK

I use drigg 1.32 and you use 1.31 so maybe that is the reason why disabling promotion module doesnt work for you? Do you have a chance to test 1.32 version?

Sorry for my late response, I've been on holiday.

I tried it with drigg 1.33, fresh install and it worked. Then after a while, the problem comes up. I think it might be related with certain drigg settings.

Hi Merc:

I'm working on this one along with the imagefield issue. They could be related as both use CCK to add their content to a Drigg scoop.

One thing that I noticed: node/add/drigg is both cached and not cached by the Drupal menu system. I don't know if this presents a conflict. I will provide details when I've tested a few scoop submittals with CCK fields added.
