Searching drupal.org for flash+games reveals a lot of interest and even a few preliminary modules, but nothing ready for prime time. HolyChimp has produced a pnFlashGames-compliant Arcade module:

but it needs help. Could someone with solid module-development experience help him take this to the next level for Drupal 6? I am willing to contribute financially; maybe others are too. How much effort will this take?

gsc 2008
i had submitted this project application for google Summer of Code 2008 .It got rejected!!!
I am ready to work on this project .If i get proper funding.
Collaboration?
I remember your GSC proposal. A few days ago I looked for your post and was surprised not to see it.
One professional developer has expressed interest, and offered to discount his professional rate. This is important, as I am paying out of my pocket for the benefit of a non-profit. How much funding would you need? Could several developers collaborate? What do you think of the module that HolyChimp put together? I would like to see more people contribute funding...maybe via ChipIn?
If u want a high quality
If u want a high quality module i would suggest going with the professional developer!!
I was planning to do this as my summer project.I would be happy if more developers collaborate.
Also this is my first attempt to make a full fledged module.
HolyChimp 's module hack is a good base for me to start off the project. But the code has to be rewritten bcos it has lot of extra code related to flash node and not related to pnflashgames
I'm on it
I'll be working on this module under simplulo's sponsorship. Look for release in the coming weeks.
