Figured I'd best open a new issue for this.

I've got this working nicely in FF and Safari, but in IE7, it displays as per the attached image. Have tried changing overall Drupal themes (including to permutations simplified ones) to no avail. Not sure what's going on here, but could use some help. Really want to get this working over the next couple of weeks of possible. Am I the only one who's having problems with this in IE7?

Using:

  • Drupal 5.2
  • phpfreechat Drupal module 5.x-1.1b
  • phpfreechat 1.0-final
  • jstools 5.x-1.1
  • a bunch of other modules
  • PHP 4.4.7-1 (have the option of using PHP 5.2.2-1)
  • Apache 2.0.54
  • MySQL 4.1.11

Any help here greatly appreciated.

...and just tried PHP 5 and it made no difference :(

Further to this, I just tried installing the module in a clean Drupal install (nothing but core, and garland theme, freshly created) and i get the same weird result for IE7. Is anyone else out there having this problem? Could use a little help... :-)

OK, so finally figured out my problem. Had to do with changes made to the style.css.php file in the theme directory for phpfreechat. Clearly the modifications were not done correctly. Fixed up the file, and voila, it now works very nicely in IE.

So, marking this closed.

Again, thanks to permutations for making this work. You've been quiet for a bit. Hopefully things are ok with you.
