I downloaded, extracted and tried to import the kjv.bc file found on your site and got this message:

The bible import failed, because the file could not be read.

I would LOVE to have this module on my site. The reason I'm using the older version is I have 5.0 of Drupal as some modules that I use don't support 6 yet.

check other support. may be for your mysql this bible module required 5.x. if you are using 4.x try http://drupal.org/node/230166. hope this help

The solution was to increase PHP file upload size in .htaccess.
