is this more-or-less ready?

Description

I'm going to develop my first site over the next three months,
and I'd like to use Barron if possible (awesome-looking theme!).
I've got some questions:

1)
Is the 6.x-1.x-dev version usable for development purpose?
Will there be a stable version before September 2008 do you think?

2)
Is it based on Amadou?
If so, is it as 'inflexible' as Amadou with regard to editing the layout?
ie. I tried editing Amadou and failed - its sidebars drove me crazy.

3)
Would Barron support the NiceMenus module, or even suckerfish?

Thanks.

So you won't think I'm anti -Anti-, I just released barron 6.x-1.0

To answer your questions:

1. Yes!
2. No
3. I have no plans to build in support for the NiceMenus module. However, check back for the 2.x release which will have support for drop down menus built in w/out the need for additional modules. Also, the 2.x version will have a sexy redesign; more than likely released before September 2008 ;)
