Issue Summary
How frustrating that my browser of choice does not work with my download-forcing Drupal module of choice. OmniWeb is a shareware Mac browser which uses the same WebKit rendering engine of Safari, but adds a few nice unique features.
However, when one accesses a File Force path with OmniWeb, the file will open in a browser window regardless. OmniWeb is ignoring the HTTP headers which File Force uses to do its magic. It is acknowledged on the Omni forums that this is indeed a bug on OmniWeb's part.

OK, I don't own a Mac, but having read the above it seems that this is primarily an (acknowledged) bug of the OmniWeb browser. I couldn't find the link to that bug, but if it is fixed and if file force still doesn't work with this browser, then feel free to reopen this issue.
