Description
I know this is not the way to send a po file with a translation and, although I have a CVS account for that, I have forgotten the procedure o use WinCVS in my PC (that was revamped some time ago). Besides, my job place does not admit the use of CVS clients.
So, while I rebuild my things, I am sending this po file with a Spanish translation of this module

I see you use poEdit. If you open the 'old' (5.1) version of es.po and then go to "Catalog" -> "Update from POT file..." (or what they're called in Spanish) and then choose the pathauto.pot. This should update the translation while still keeping the translated strings from the previous translation intact, so that you won't introduce (unintended) terminology changes. :)

Why not change them with 'evento' ?

To Freso,
1. You don't have to attach as a .zip. The upload system will accept .po files.
Thank you. I did it so because I was afraid it could become 'corrupted'. self-urban legend I guess.
2. Why does the header of the file say it's the Japanese translation? :x
Because I used the Japanese tranlation as a basis. I slipped that change. It has been changed now.
3. You have quite a few terminology changes from the 5.1 translation. Are these intentional?
Yes. When I did the 5.1 translation I used 'trayectos' for paths but I think it's more general in the Drupal community to use 'rutas'. Some other minor changes are either intentional or irrelevant. Feel free to make it more neutral Spanish if you feel so, please.
4. It's not clear whether this is for 6.x-1.0 or 6.x-1.x... ? I used the last recommend version in the module's download page. It's 6.x-1.0. Sorry for being unclear.
To dvinegla,
Why not change them with 'evento' ?
Because it's not 'better' Spanish? I am not really super-happy with 'hecho' or 'suceso' but I am not really keen with 'evento' (semantic Spanglish?). Not a religious issue, anyway.
Thanks for the attention and sorry for the mistakes.
Gustavo.

Actually, it's not too long ago that this was made possible: #214730: Allow .po and .pot files in issues/#247370: Upload of .po files :)
Haha. No worries. :) I don't speak Spanish meself, I just thought some stuff changed that perhaps was not intentional (seeing as how you used the Japanese translation as a base instead of the Spanish one). I think I also wrote this bullet point before I realised you were behind the 5.1 translation as well.
You're welcome, and no worries! It's good getting more translations in. :) There are a few string changes in 6.x-1.x, but when we're ~1 week from release of 6.x-1.1, we'll send a note to the translation mail list, for people to translate or update translations. There might be one or two more minor string changes, but I'm trying to keep any string changes in #256340: String clean up which is set for 6.x-2.x, to minimise the work of you good folk who have already spent a lot of time on translating 6.x-1.0. So, yeah, just a heads up in advance! :)
Oh, and I made a few changes ("general" to "pathauto.module", and setting Project-Id-Version to "Pathauto 6.x-1.0") and committed this. Thank you for the translation update! :)
