Inacurate vote counts: Taxonomy_access has interaction issue with indexing and multiple roles

This issue is described in my forum post but I wanted to ensure it was an issue as well. I have this issue with Drupal 4.6.2

The summary is that if a user has multiple roles, none of these roles have 'administer nodes' privileges, but multiples of these rolls have access to view a given piece of content, the poll list page will give inaccurate vote counts; the number of votes will be multiplied by the number of roles that have an access level.

The fault appears to be in the query rewrite. I don't know how to fix this.
