Hey all,
I've to got 6.2 installed on a shared server with 1and1. Mod_rewrite seemed to be working last night, but came back today. and it's not working. Only thing that changed was enabling php5 via AddType x-mapp-php5 .php in the .htaccess file.

From 1and1 faq tried adding:

Options -MultiViews
RewriteEngine On

still no luck. Any advice (besides moving to a shared host that doesn't bite?).

Run phpinfo() ... is mod_rewrite listed under "Loaded modules"?
