I am currently using Drupal 6 with PHP 4. I therefore can't install the RDF module required by the D6 version of Calais.
Is it possible to use the D5 method of installing ARC 2 instead? I can't switch to PHP 5 because of other issues on the site.

febbraro commentedI think it will be possible. As long as the dependencies are setup to enable the Calais API module, for example you may have to enable the RDF module so you can enable Calais or remove that dependency from the .info file. Beyond that it is just looking for the existence of the ARC2 class, so as long as that is installed somewhere on the include path you should be fine.
As we develop a tighter integration with the RDF module this may become a problem in the future, but that has not happened yet.
Thanks for using the module
