Sorry, it's me again. It's because I think Taxonomy Browser is really great and can be perfect with just one or two more steps.

Would it not be terrific if there was a search box with Taxonomy Browser? We select terms to narrow down the search results. This search box narrows down the search results even further not by terms but by free texts.

I'm not a search expert because none of my sites really needs it. I've briefly looked at the search API and nothing jumps out at me as a way to search on a pre-selected subset of nodes. If you can identify a way of doing that, I'd certainly consider it; just reopen this request with some pointers on how.
