Hi
I like to create categories like health , science etc.... and should be accessible via url of www.....com/health, www.......com/science etc....

How do I do that?

use the core taxonomy module

goto administer -> taxonomy
create a vocabulary (container)
add terms to the vocabulary (categories)

after setting up properly, view one of the content types you've associated with yoru taxonomy adn you will see new drop down menus allowing you to categorize/organize your content

beyond that if you want /health as a path, you have to enable the path.module and create url aliases and to automate paths investigate the pathauto.module

Thats totally up to you, you can use any kind of content type you want or build your own.
