We have installed Drupal 5.7, and are running Mass Contact 5.x-2.4, along with Mime Mail 5.x-1.0. In the Mass Contact Form settings we have left the Default Name and Default Email Addresses blank. We created a role called admin and given this role full permissions to Mass Contact. When a user with admin role sends out an mass contact email, and fills in their name and email fields on the form, the email is still delivered with the site's default email address as the sender.
What are we missing? Have other people run into this issue?

oadaeh commentedTry disabling the Mime Mail module, and then sending a test message and let me know if the defaults are still there.

wylbur commentedSorry for the confusion, we are also using the signup module, and the issue was with sending out signup broadcasts rather than mass contact emails. I closed the issue. Thanks for your reply!
