Hi,
I am using the tool to create Book Reviews for items i want people to be able to buy through my site. When i create an Amazon Item, it also creates an Amazon Node. I don't want both pieces of content, so i am deleting the Node. Is there a way to turn off this auto node create??

There's not. That extra node type is how you can have any number of book reviews and related links for a single title without duplicating the Amazon data.
