I installed 6.x audio into my 6.x Drupal site, uploaded an MP3, and it won't play. There's not even a little arrow to click to play the file. I filled in all of the required information completely. Am I missing something?

did you select a player in the audio modules settings area ?

Thanks for responding - I just looked, and I can't see how to do that. I looked at "Audio Settings," and didn't see anything to select a player. Can you tell me any more about what I might be looking for? Is it called that, or something else?

when in audio settings there is a players tab

I don't see one. I see two tabs at top: audio and images.

Below that, my only other choices are:

Default node title format
Node teaser format
Permitted audio file extensions
Downloadable by default

But definitely no other tabs.

My apologies , I just realized you are using the 6.x version. I threw the most recent -dev version on my drupal 6 sandbox and see that it uses tokens to call the player. I will have to play a bit more before I can respond to how the new changes affect the audio player. You may be better off filing a support request in the issue query of the project by using the appropriate links on the project page.
