Is there a way to edit locked menu items, eg the my account menu item (or the calendar menu item from the event module)? They appear in the navigation menu and cannot be disabled or assigned a weight.

Where is the navigation block title controlled? That means, can I disable that the title changes to the logged in user name? Can blocks have dynamic titles?

Heya all,
I'm having the same problem, I would want to move the "my account" menu item to a submenu, but since it's locked, that can't be done.

I had a look to the user.module file, and found the $item, but don't know how to patch it in order to make it movable.

is this in this file ?

the navagation block... or make it option for roles and turn it on for yourself. Make a custom block with the menu items you want visitors to see. See blocks repository for various ideas.
