Setting the lightbox speed

I think the following feature would not be very easy to implement but it would help a lot to customize the module.

It would be very great, if the speed and the order of the enlargement (horizontal, vertical) of the lighbox behaviour could be defined in the modules settings page. To explain it a bit: I imagine a setting where i can set the speed of the lightbox-popup and in which order the enlargement of the lightbox will appear, for example first (thumbnail as base) vertical then horizontal and at the end the image descriptionm or all together.
