Callback to galleries

Issue Summary

Maybe just a stupid newbie question: I would like to call the group gallery from a menu item i.e. 'Photos' having a path like 'node/$group/galleries'. Changing the galleries view's pageview path doesn't work since it's messing up links on the galleries pages subsequently.
The other option to do so as far as I understand is to assign a callback to the menu item 'Photos' (path: 'node/$group/galleries') calling the respective og_galleries function which will be normally called if path 'galleries/$group' (which I cannot use for some reason) is requested. But I cannot find the respective function anywhere in og_galleries module? Can anyone help, please?
