Fantastic. There's no way to tell a developer good job, so I'm using this. Works as advertised and saved about 4 hours of work. I uploaded files and then pointed the importer to it and it created my cck type that I designated. All I had to do was supply titles (instead of using the filenames as the title).

If we had a rating module, I'd give you 5 stars.

True credit goes to the image.module folks. This one is just adjusted to work with imagefield and cck instead.

I would like to get better support for cck fields and other "bells and whistles" but this was a start for me, and improvements will come in due time (after a get a couple of big projects off of my plate)
