Hi - I've got a this module working in Drupal 5.7 and I'm just using basic image ads, not HTML ads or iframe ads. I have two ad groups, and I've enabled the blocks for them to appear in their respective regions. After I enable the blocks, the active ads in those groups appear, but the blocks then seem to become "disabled" randomly. I thought this might be relating to ads expiring, but none of the ads are set to expire, and when the blocks go away, I find them "disabled" in the block admin page.

Has anyone seen this? I thought it might be that my client was disabling the blocks, but they say they haven't disabled the blocks.

Ideas?

There is no code in the ad module that would disable blocks, I'm confident that this is not an issue with the ad module.

I recommend you review your other contributed modules that are available -- could any of them be disabling blocks? Do any other blocks get disabled?

Suspiciously, after I removed block editing permissions from every user except myself, the blocks stopped randomly being disabled.
