Drupal Consultant/Expert (Freelance Opportunity)

The Magazine Group, a Washington based firm and one of the country’s top independent custom publishers seeks a sharp freelance drupal consultant. Candidates must have the following skills to be considered.

- Expert themer and developer using Drupal 5.7
- Thorough working knowledge of Views, Panels, Taxonomy, Workflow, Nodequeue, and other essential and auxiliary modules
- Expertise with Drupal-based e-commerce integration, with specific experience in identifying and implementing appropriate solution for a given set of requirements.
- Familiarity with progress and some experience with Drupal 6 a plus
- Fully conversant with the LAMP environment, using the CPanel interface, with emphasis on MySQL and special expertise in best practices for website security in this environment
- Comfortable working in a WISA environment
- Skilled PHP programmer, with specific experience in troubleshooting, modifying and/or authoring Drupal modules
- Substantial experience with current user-experience and "back-end" web technologies such as jQuery, secure XML web methods, AJAX, etc.
