Is there a tutorial or some documentation to explain how state machines work?
I followed this tutorial: http://drupal.org/node/156317
But it does not mention states at all, instead it says to use CCK fields for the status of the article... I would think this is where the state machine would come in, but I'm confused by the functionality/interface...

Second this! I can't get states machine to work... a tutorial would be very helpful.
